Everything starts with an email or a phone call between one of our care coordinators and the client or their designated proxy, usually a family member or friend. This call helps us get some basic information about your loved one, their needs and to convey to you our thoughts and recommendations. Please feel free to call us with any questions or for clarifications or simply to discuss you or your loved one’s care needs.

Yes, absolutely. We believe our clients success is dependent on us getting to know, understand and trust each other. The home care assessment is an important tool to gather important details about care needs so we can carefully customize our services to each client. 

In many cases, yes. We will help you select a caregiver based on your loved one’s requirements and personality and then introduce them during our free assessment or in a follow up meeting.

All caregivers are subjected to a rigorous, comprehensive screening procedure. This includes in-person interviews, verifying caregiver training and experience, performing reference checks, DMV check and criminal background check.

Yes, we employ all of our caregivers. They are not hired directly by clients.

Since our company employs our caregivers, we pay them directly and take care of all related taxes and insurance.

Our agency is both a private pay home care company and a Medicaid approved health services provider. For private party services we accept many forms of payment, including checks, e-checks, credit cards.

We are a Maryland certified Medicaid approved health services provider. Our home health care services may also be covered by Medicare for example for services delivered following release from a hospital. There must be a doctor’s prescription for the service need.

We always have a care supervisor available to address urgent matters and emergencies. We are always here with our 24/7, 365 days a year on call service.

No, ERINMA Healthcare is a locally established. owned and operated business. We are an independent organization with no ties to a franchise chain corporation.  This allows us to be adaptable and more nimble in the health services market than our larger competitors.
